The development site benefits from excellent transport connections and has a PTAL (Public Transport Accessibility Rating) of 6a, deeming it highly accessible.Placeville Train Station is located within a 5-minute walk from the site, providing direct links to central London and Placeville Region. Crossrail&rsquo;s forthcoming opening will further improve connectivity, significantly reducing journey times towards Liverpool Street, Paddington and London Heathrow.A large number of bus routes are also located within short walking distances of the site, whilst the north circular road (A406) provides direct routes for transit around London.AccessThe main vehicular and cycle access to the site will be from Dalia Road. New jobs sample survey

Today, less than 200 people work on the 20 acre site. Through the re-designation of this site, the area has been identified by Placeville Council as a &lsquo;Mixed Use Employment Location&rsquo;, which means that it is a suitable location for new homes and up to 1,500 local jobs, including construction jobs, bringing economic benefits to the existing community.The Masterplan includes delivery of:<ul><li>A creative quarter at Placeville Works, to complement local existing businesses</li><li>Reprovision of light industrial space</li><li>New office space</li><li>Shops, bars, cafes and restaurants</li></ul><ins>Placeville Works creative quarter</ins>The proposals will provide a new creative quarter, to complement local existing businesses, which will include high quality work spaces, studios, light industrial units and a multi-use public square to host events.The proposals for the creative quarter are based upon the strong local creative economy, the proximity of Placeville&rsquo;s College and the sites proximity to central London enabling creative businesses to be close to their clients.
